LAMB OF GOD

The central image in this window is the biblical image of Jesus most often mentioned in the book of Revelations. The most glorious reference of the Lamb (of God) is in Revelations 5: 11-13 and reads as follows: And I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice; "Worthy is the lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!" And every creature which is in heaven, on the earth, under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that is in them, I heard saying: "Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb, forever and ever. Amen!"

Above the central image is a fiery dove, which represent the Holy Spirit. Seven fiery stars surround the central image, which represents the seven spirits (angels) that surround the throne of God (Revelations). Also surrounding the Lamb are twenty light blue circles, which represents the twenty mysteries of the rosary, which is a contemplative prayer on the life of the Lamb of God while on earth and His glory now in heaven. The fire like shapes that surround the Lamb represents the fire of divine love that He cast upon earth at His coming. Below the central image are two large ovals. One contains the Star of David, which represents the Lamb's human lineage from king David. The other oval has a cross representing the altar on which the Lamb was slain for our salvation. Below these ovals are four smaller circles. The two central circles contain the Greek letter Alpha and Omega letters that Jesus used to describe himself as the beginning and end of all things, (Revelations 22: 13). The two outer circles each contain the six-pointed star of the old covenant and the eight-pointed star of the new covenant
