FAITH JOURNEY OF ABRAHAM

This window is centered on the image of Abraham's first steps of Faith on his lifelong journey of Faith, as recorded in the book of Genesis (chapter 12). The Lord said to Abram (Abraham) "Go forth from the land of your kinsfolk and from your fathers house to a land I will show you. I will make of you a great nation and I will bless you...All the communities of the earth shall find a blessing in you." Abram went as the lord directed him and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Hiram. Abram took his wife Sara, his brothers son Lot, all the possessions that they acquired, and the persons they had acquired in Harem, and they set out for the land of Cannon. Above the central is the Star of David and below do two candles flank an image of the Torah. This great event marked the first obedience of Abraham that would result in a great blessing to all the communities of men on the earth.
