OUR LADY OF ALL NATIONS

This catholicf fine art print is centered on Our Lady Of All Nations. As the new Eve and Mother of all the living as noted by many Church Fathers and declared by the Church, Mary is likewise Mother of All Nations. In all her approved apparitions as in Lourdes, Lasalette, Fatima, Akita, etc Mary appears as a young woman of the nation she appears in and calls the persons she appears to her children. The cross above her is the cross of Christ where he gave her to us as our mother in the order of grace. The twelve stars that surround her head represent the Church – the new Israel. The sheep below her are all her children in every nation on earth.

Just above the image of Mary is the Holy Spirit that anoints Mary in her role as Mother of all nations. Just inside the Gothic arch are twenty-two angels that represent the angels assigned to Mary to assist her in her work as mother of all nations. In between the angels are twenty bright pastel blue circles that represent the twenty mysteries of the rosary, which is a contemplative prayer on the life of Jesus and Mary on earth and their glory now in heaven. Below the central image is an ancient image of Holy Name of Mary. The ancient symbol is flanked by two images that represent the corporal works of mercy on the left and the spiritual works of mercy on the right. These works of mercy, which Mary performed perfectly, are the realization of the beatitudes, which Jesus gave us to live.
