Childlike

This window is centered on the event in the life of Jesus as recorded in Matthew 18: 1-5. At that time the disciples approached Jesus and said, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” He called a child over, placed him in their midst, and said, “ I say to you, unless you become like little children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever receives one child such as this in my name receives me.”

Above the central image is the Holy Spirit. Above the Holy Spirit on the outer frame are seven stars that re present the seven spirits that surround the throne of God in the Book of Revelations. In the outer frame are twenty bright blue circles that represent the Holy Rosary, which is a contemplative prayer on the life of Jesus and Mary while on earth and now their life of glory in heaven. Below the central image are two ovals. The oval on the left contains an image of the sacred heart of Jesus that represents his passionate divine and human love for each person. The Oval on the right contains the Eucharist under both species that is the gift of himself that nourishes us unto eternal life.
